The European Union (EU) has put in place Directives to achieve interoperability of the trans-European railway system and to assist the EU railway manufacturing industry in the adoption of common standards. In order to implement the requirements of the Directives, Notified Bodies have been appointed in order to assess and verify conformity with the essential requirements of these Directives.
Praxis High Integrity Systems Limited is an appointed Notified Body (NoBo) and carries out conformity assessment work under these Regulations. This appointment is based on relevant competence and a confirmed operation of a detailed management system. This system includes controls for independence, impartiality and confidentiality which is an essential part of NoBo business.
